Event Details

Following on their reprinting of other Event Shop units in a whole new event (Yule and Sitri), LifeWonders will hold a new event to allow players to get Zao.
For this event:

  • Another event shop where you can exchanged Energy Balls and Mountain Jelly for Limit Break materials and Boosts for both WOOD and INFERNAL as well as Coins and Lil' Salomon Tickets. It's noted that Energy Balls are for Limit Break materials and Mountain Jelly are for Skill enhancements.
  • Formations can play a huge role in battles; before starting a quest, you can select a specific party formation. By arranging your units in the selected formation, additional effects can apply.
  • New buff: Limit, that increases damage as HP approaches zero.
  • A reprint of Hot Springs bonus quests
  • A gacha introducing ☆5 Zao 5star icon.png Zao, a new INFERNAL unit: Durga 3star icon.png Durga, and two new limited ☆4 variants: Ikutoshi 3star icon.png Ikutoshi and Shuten 3star icon.png Shuten.
  • Ikutoshi 3star icon.png Ikutoshi, Shuten 3star icon.png Shuten, Ibaraki 3star icon.png Ibaraki, Ashigara 3star icon.png Ashigara, Chernobog 3star icon.png Chernobog, Kagutsuchi 3star icon.png Kagutsuchi, Kyuuma 3star icon.png Kyuma and link-3DGunzou will all be getting skins for their ☆3 versions. These units will also receive a rate-up in the gacha, as they have event-relevant skills.
  • Special bonus quests with select characters under the cherry blossoms.

Like the boost function for Christmas 2017, you select from a list of formations before battle. To activate them, you simply arrange your units in the order given; however, the Leader must be in the Leader spot. To make up for this, the buffs apply for the rest of the phase, leaving you free to move your units and apply more buffs to other units.

Note, you can set a default formation by ticking the checkbox on the right.

These quests can be repeated as much as you want. Each quests has a Rank XP to Stamina ratio (as always with quests) and their main event-item drop per stamina ratio (maxima do not factor in skill multipliers).

Again, it's heavily advised to wait for all the Free Quests to release before any intense Stamina Drink consuming farming, as better item per stamina quests are guaranteed to follow.

Wanderwogel Conflict

These quests focus on yielding Energy Ball more, so units with Athlete, Mountain Conquerer (+10%), Rise to Full Height, Wielder of Adamantite (+20%) are preferred.

Each unit will multiply the quantity dropped between 10% and 20% (a full, farm-focused party where absolutely everyone has the corresponding skills will increase the quantity dropped by 130%).

  • This quest features not the usual dragon but instead they focus on buffs (Holy oil and Fighting spirit from the Light Dragon) and debuffs (Omen and Fear from the grass dragons), making sure you can kill the light dragon as well as activate Wondervogel formation first turn will make that quest much more manageable, it is then just a matter of killing the non mob unit as the grass dragons suffer from the Immobilized status effect for 999 turns, thus making them susceptible to be killed from out of their range by magic and sword units

Currently documented drops are not 100% correct, some are still missing, or may be incorrectly positioned (mainly boost items).

It seems that the Mountain Jelly dosen't drops from what is said on the top, instead the drop is randomized.

It can be inferred in the taglines of formations that Zao is the speaker, due to the plentiful use of 後輩.

I heavily recommend to noy buy the alpine and siege formations from the shop, the Wandervogel one should be the most useful one for completing this even'ts challenge quests

If your team really needs the defense buffs you can consider getting Siege, Alpine on the other hand may seem very good but is very hard to pull off and will likely make you loose one or more turns if used in free quests ( The formation set up heavily requires ?x6 boards )

It seems that the scenario is as poor as a valentine event in this year. But in some Japanese housamo community like wikiwiki, most of all negative opinions about not just this event but others like character skills or game systems are ignored or suppressed. They just look on the bright side and praise the Dev Team whatever they do. A new cult is here. This is what I feared. I hope this community is okay...
