Event Details

Following on their reprinting of other Event Shop units in a whole new event (Yule and Sitri), LifeWonders will hold a new event to allow players to get Zao.
For this event:

  • Another event shop where you can exchanged Energy Bars and Mountain Jelly for Limit Break materials and Boosts for both Element earth.pngWOOD and Element evil.pngINFERNAL as well as Coins and Lil' Salomon Tickets. It's noted that Energy Bars are for Limit Break materials and Mountain Jelly are for Skill enhancements.
  • Formations can play a huge role in battles; before starting a quest, you can select a specific party formation. By arranging your units in the selected formation, additional effects can apply.
  • New buff: LimitATK Up by 1x~2x → 2x~4x as HP→0 for 1 turn (Buff), that increases damage as HP approaches zero.
  • A reprint of Hot Springs bonus quests
  • A gacha introducing Zao (Gendarme), a new Element evil.pngINFERNAL unit: Durga, and two new limited variants: Ikutoshi and Shuten.
  • A very vague mention of a "Time-Limited Special Quest".
  • Ikutoshi, Shuten, Ibaraki, Ashigara, Chernobog, Kagutsuchi, Kyuma and Gunzo will all be getting skins for their versions. These units will also receive a rate-up in the gacha, as they have event-relevant skills.
  • The amount of Energy Bars and Mountain Jelly obtained on quests can be increased by using units with the skills on the table. Note that some units need to go through Limit Breaking before they get the boosting skill.

Formations

From what's given, like the boost function for Christmas 2017, you select from a list of formations before battle, and, from the screenshot, it seems a these will rely around Leader (first unit in your team) and any member being in a specific location. For example, also in the given screenshot, Leader will be in front and will receive a damage given increase, while the member in back will receive damage reduction received.

Below is a list of formations, what they do, how to do them, and a slight note. These are currently unavailable, and will be unlocked through clearing future Event Main Quests.

These formations and effects will be added when announced.

It seems that the scenario is as poor as a valentine event in this year. But in some Japanese housamo community like wikiwiki, most of all negative opinions about not just this event but others like character skills or game systems are ignored or suppressed. They just look on the bright side and praise the Dev Team whatever they do. A new cult is here. This is what I feared. I hope this community is okay...

I heavily recommend to noy buy the alpine and siege formations from the shop, the Wandervogel one should be the most useful one for completing this even'ts challenge quests

If your team really needs the defense buffs you can consider getting Siege, Alpine on the other hand may seem very good but is very hard to pull off and will likely make you loose one or more turns if used in free quests ( The formation set up heavily requires ?x6 boards )

It can be inferred in the taglines of formations that Zao is the speaker, due to the plentiful use of 後輩.

No drop is guaranteed, but all the drops documented are possible drops

It seems that the Mountain Jelly dosen't drops from what is said on the top, instead the drop is randomized.

Currently documented drops are not 100% correct, some are still missing, or may be incorrectly positioned (mainly boost items).

LW is being real progressive with the BDSM representation that's clearly reflected through the Leader/Member relationship, how the Leader Master dishes out more damage, while the Member Slave is able to dish out more damage. Sasusga, LW.
