☆3/☆4 Hanuman

Hanuman is potentially an extremely good tank thanks to having both Guts and Evasion, a pair of skills that makes him extremely hard to take down, whereas as alternative, he has Guts+Tenacity he gets all of this by simply moving him around, and it’s recommended to, as he’s reliant on not only that, but also positioning because of LB1, it has a fantastic effect that he makes nice approach of thanks to his attack range. Despite all that, generally purely tanky units are at disadvantage if they hold no way to boost themselves offensively, had he had anything of the sort he’d be an outstanding last man standing unit, but sadly that’s not the case.

☆4 Desert Journey Hanuman

Unknown icon.pngHanuman is drastically different from regular Hanuman, gaining a few novelty perks that will usually play in his favor, those being his LB1 and LB3, having near-full synergy and able to have good damage and durability if done properly. His LB2 is a double-edge sword, it can be useful for boosting his allies, but it can quickly backfire depending on the aggressor. His Charge is nice to give him Guts and is affected by part of LB1, but its other effects are debatable at best. On a side note, he’s of the best candidates to put with Kurohuku/Mobster, his LB1-LB3 makes full synergy with the benefits they provide, Weakness included, otherwise he may see himself outclassed by less-quirky units.

☆3/☆4 Hanuman

Class: Tank

Gameplay role:

Pros

+ Rather durable thanks to Default Tenacity and LB2 Evasion, one or the other, or both make him very sturdy, but mainly LB2.

+ Adding to the previous point, LB3 makes him nigh-unkillable thanks to Guts partially on demand.

+ LB1 is great to spread CP around his party and him, especially thanks to his range.

Cons

- Requires to be frequently attacking something with his party near him if he wants LB1 to be optimally approached.

- Is in heavy need of moving due to ¾ of his skills requiring so, taking up a highly-coveted proc method to be efficient.

- LB2 has a bit of a low proc rate, making it a shot in the dark if you want to rely on it to make him last through the fight.

- His Charge is a glorified LB1, having no inherent offensive buffs makes it a bit lacking.

☆4 Desert Journey Hanuman

Class: Glass Cannon

Gameplay role:

Pros

+ Default helps erase LB3’s Burn in order to exploit his LB1 constantly and safely.

+ LB1 bolsters both his damage and durability thanks to fairly uncommon buffs, which he can easily achieve thanks to LB3.

+ LB2 Fervor for his allies when hit proves noteworthy as an additional and rare offensive+CP buff.

+ LB3 allows him to reach his Charge faster, which by itself allows him to attain Guts to help his survivability.

Cons

- Default has little use to erase any ailment that could shut him down past Burn removal.

- LB3 requires him to ironically not hit anything first in order to approach LB1, otherwise you’re at mercy of gambling for way worse ailments to make it work.

- His LB2, just like other beach-themed units, can backfire depending on what enemy attains it.

- Past Guts and possible damage, his Charge is fairly underwhelming, Nullify Buff is a debatable effect since it won’t always work done this way.
