A second year student, and classmates with the Hero, Shirou, Kengo and Moritaka. Ryota is a laid back young man with a jolly atmosphere who makes friends and acquaintances with ease wherever he goes, making him a very socially connected person. Serves as a calming influence and mood lightener whenever arguments between Kengo and Shirou grow too heated, and when the protagonist first arrives at school, Ryota quickly draws them into his circle of friends. He enjoys eating and trying out new food to the point he considers it his personal hobby.

His sacred treasure, the Holy Grail, is a miraculous cup that brings about endless bounty. By borrowing its power, Ryota can heal almost any injury.
