異世界の海を股に掛ける海賊の「転光生」の中でも、まだ自分の船を持たない新入りたち。不安定な船の上で、敵の得物を取り上げ、本来の力を発揮させない戦い方を得意とする。力が絶対である世界に生きるためか、ガラが悪く、またシンプルな思考を持つ者たちが多い。主人公に、強大な力を、あるいは器の大きさを見出し、それに惚れこみ、「我が船長」と契約した者たちである。
