アールプが持つ帽子は「夢と現実を入れ替える」ことができる「神器」。彼が夢と現実の狭間で生まれた時、両方の世界へアクセスできる力を「太陽と月の刻印」に封印し、外部からコントロールできるようにした。太陽は現実を、月は夢を司どり、それぞれの世界に入るための「鍵」として機能する。しかし封印後、夢の中でしか栄養を取る事ができないと判明したため、日常的にこの「神器」を使用しなければならなくなった。かつて、自身が持つもう1つの「神器」である「姿を変える腕輪」の「権能」によりパンダ姿に変身したが、考えなしに豊満な肉体に変身したことにより、唯一の解除方法である腕輪を外すことが出来なくなる。しかし本人はパンダ姿を気に入っており、元に戻れないことをさほど気にしていない。なお、現在の姿に関する情報は全て、アールプの自己申告である。
