Despite a cool design, Suzuka’s skills sound great on paper, yet in practice they can be a little underwhelming. Her Default and LB3 are worth noting as centerpieces since she’ll remove Bind herself every time she suffers it and gains offensive momentum every level while LB3 slaps Curse on enemies she hits with certainty and add some flat HP damage along the way, this can be pronounced through Charge with Barrage, but it’s not that stellar to comment on. She has Insight just by moving as well, which help round up her proc rates, this may sound fantastic but she can perfectly live without such boon. One thing’s for certain, with a party that can play and amplify her strengths, her Barrage will be put to very good use thanks to her element and playstyle being suitable for it, she just needs a push from party members in that sense. Bear in mind her Wide Slash range as 4☆, which sacrifices damage for range, further pushing that she needs more buffs to make approach of it.

Gameplay Role:

Pros

+ A nice, standard offensive self-buff along with the amazing Bind-immunity trait.

+ Insight helps round up her Default and LB3 proc rates.

+ LB3 allows her to slap Curse and moderate flat HP damage to her targets, which can help reduce incoming enemy damage.

Cons

- Even though they sound awesome together, Insight and Barrage don’t synergize all that well with her skills.

- The special bonus damage from LB2 and Charge remain very situational to be usable.

- Past damage under Default, her Charge isn’t exactly good due to an aforementioned point, this also applies to her attack range as 4☆, where her damage can suffer in exchange of more unnecessary range.
