Some card enhancement items have an associated attribute: Boosts for leveling up; and Spell Tokens and Power Stones for limit breaking. Matching a boost and card by attribute increases the Exp gained by the Boost by 1.2x, with the exception of All-Round Boosts, which give this bonus to any unit. Limit breaking necessitates using breakthrough items of matching attribute.

An attribute, also an energy, element, or type (not to be confused with weapon type), is a card property as well as a property of an attack that modifies damage with a multiplier, and this multiplier is specific to the attribute of the attack and the attribute of the struck unit. The multiplier may be advantageous (>1x when attacking enemies, <1x when struck by enemies), disadvantageous (vice versa), or neutral (multiplier = 1x). Certain AR cards can only be equipped on cards of a specific attribute. Each attribute is represented by a symbol and two colors (body color and border color). Attributes are also a property of certain card enhancement items. Each attribute has its own dedicated slot in the Support Lineup feature.

Categories of attributes

Two categories of attributes exist: regular attributes (Element fire.pngFIRE, Element water.pngWATER, Element earth.pngWOOD, Element light.pngAETHER, Element dark.pngNETHER), and special attributes (Element none.pngALL-ROUND, Element evil.pngINFERNAL, Element hero.pngVALIANT, Element world.pngWORLD, Element infinity.pngINFINITY, Element zero.pngNULL). Cards of regular attribute are far more abundant than cards of special attribute. During attribute gacha campaigns the regular attributes have their own dedicated gacha, while the special attributes share the same special attribute gacha.

Within the regular attribute category, two more informal subcategories can be considered: Fire, Water, and Wood; and Aether and Nether. Similarly, within the special attribute category, Infernal, Valiant, and World can be considered as a subcategory, and then there's All-Round, Infinity, and Null.

Card enhancement items

Some card enhancement items have an associated attribute: Boosts for leveling up; and Spell Tokens and Power Stones for limit breaking. Matching a boost and card by attribute increases the Exp gained by the Boost by 1.2x, with the exception of All-Round Boosts, which give this bonus to any unit. Limit breaking necessitates using breakthrough items of matching attribute.

So I'm assuming we'll be getting Infinity units sometime in the future? Cuz if we do it means LW will have to program new evo materials for them as well
