☆3/☆4 Nomad

Nomad is an interesting form of tank, he has to hit things to be tanky compared to most characters due to LB1 Evasion On Attack, which lets him get purposely hit for Rage, whose negative effects get greatly reduced by Evasion or partially by Tenacity. It has to be stressed enough that LB1’s Evasion is the cornerstone of his sheer tank capabilities, and mostly if he’s 4☆ given Pierce range makes full use of it. LB3 is very niche offering no direct benefit past hit-and-run tactics that only work for vertically larger maps. His charge skill can be strong if under Rage and applies an useful Accel effect to his allies, something that can stack up with other CP sources. He has technically no issues facing Water thanks to constant Evasion, and with some Combo or Glint/Concentration, he might just receive a push for a perfect LB1 proc and remain almost untouchable.

☆4 Island Nomad

Nomad (Island) has a few huge selling points, on the go, his Default giving Guts KO insurance to his party is great, along with a fantastic LB2 that makes him extremely hard to take down, paired with the aforementioned Guts can make for great failsafes. LB1’s Concentration bolsters those two skills amazingly well and adds some damage buff bit that he can definitely approach, Concentration’s damage buff part also applies to his Charge, allowing it to boast of great damage with nice CP effects to boot thanks to Acceleration. His namely downside comes from LB3, it’s a very niche skill that serves mostly for hit-and-run tactics and outrange Slash, Strike and probably Strike, besides the vertical movement increase, making it solely useful for vertically larger maps and offering no direct benefit, if any at all.

Highlights

☆3/☆4 Nomad

Class: Tank, Bruiser

Gameplay role:

Pros

+ Traditional Tenacity on demand through default, which can raise his durability and patch up LB2 Rage downsides.

+ With a clean hit, he’ll be extremely tanky through LB1 Evasion.

+ Raises his damage to considerable levels thanks to Rage.

+ Charge Acceleration has a non-scaling effect that works nicely for any who need a push in CP and quickly adds up with other CP sources.

Cons

- Needs to be hit to get Rage going, which obliges him to have either Evasion or at minimum Tenacity to be any tanky.

- Needs to constantly hit something to fish for Evasion to be at his durability peak.

- LB3 serves as a hit-and-run tactic, but can prove a bit counterproductive since it’s necessary to keep hitting enemies for his LB1.

☆4 Island Nomad

Class: Bruiser

Gameplay role:

Pros

+ KO insurance for him and his allies thanks to Default Guts.

+ LB1 Concentration bolsters both his proc rates and damage, in his case, this makes Default and LB2 amazing.

+ LB2 allows him to be extremely sturdy very frequently, especially under Concentration and getting a full hit thanks to his attack range.

+ Charge Acceleration and CP Up quickly add up CP for his party.

Cons

- If not under Concentration, his damage and LB2 can suffer considerably.

- LB2 needs him to constantly hit things in order to remain almost untouchable.

- LB3 serves as a hit-and-run tactic, but can prove counterproductive since it’s necessary to keep hitting enemies for his LB2.
