☆3/☆4 Bathym

Bathym’s supporting comes mostly from Default, Curse is great for reducing damage taken and helps his party when it procs. He’s largely redeemed by LB2, having Critical fairly on demand is great and exponentially raises his damage, which can apply to his Charge for a stunning nuke (in more than one sense). LB3 is pretty situational and weird to work with, for 3☆, the pushback is kinda cockblocking at minimum, for 4☆ it’s odd to work with, it’s mostly a niche effect that works only in vertically large maps where you can do hit-and-run tactics, and only against Slash, Strike and occasionally Pierce.

☆4 Summer Bathym

Unknown icon.pngBathym performs different from his normal version, he loses his mighty Critical buff and his fantastic Dark element, making up just barely for a great LB2 that quickly adds CP for him and his allies and retaining both his Curse on hit and his stun on Charge, both things greatly supported by his Ranged range. Similar to other Beach-themed characters, his Default can screw up your runs depending on what enemy gets its effects, but getting around that makes for a good supportive effect any character welcomes. Akin to his normal version, he also retains his Charge, now with nearly triple the range and a pushback effect, though ideally you’ll still be hitting 2-3 enemies at most, as well as LB3, being the same odd hit-and-run skill whose effectiveness is extremely niche and gated mostly towards vertically large maps, where even then it’s counterproductive since you may want to continuously hit things, and having to move him back into position potentially sacrifices possibilities to move others around (unless you put someone behind him).

☆3/☆4 Bathym

Class: Glass Cannon

Gameplay Role:

Pros

+ Default Curse on demand just by attacking is great to reduce incoming damage.

+ LB2 steroids his damage to fantastic levels, being fairly on-demand as well.

+ Charge can have LB2 applied to it, letting it boast of awesome damage and stun whatever survives.

Cons

- LB1 is perhaps the most underwhelming part of his skills.

- LB2 obliges him to move if he wants his damage to shine, especially if he’s able to use Charge.

- LB3 serves as a hit-and-run tactic, but can prove a bit counterproductive since his range can become suboptimal, or outright cockblocked if 3☆.

☆4 Summer Bathym

Class: Offensive Support

Gameplay Role:

Pros

+ Default is nice for his allies thanks to a damage+CP buff.

+ LB1 Curse on demand just by attacking is fantastic, especially thanks to his range and helping reduce incoming damage.

+ LB2 adds on his shining performance by becoming a fantastic CP battery for his allies and himself, allowing everyone to reach Charge considerably fast.

+ Charge is great to shoo and stun away targets you want to deal with later, with humongous vertical range as well.

Cons

- Default, like all other Beach-themed units, has the huge issue to applying to whatever hits him as well, which can potentially turn the battle against you.

- LB3 serves as a hit-and-run tactic, but can prove a bit counterproductive since he’s recommended to keep hitting enemies for his LB1 and LB2 .

- Passes to be Water from Dark originally, now being weak to Grass with only Curse to help partially.
